Sounding Ocean is a multimedia installation that explores the subject of the emerging industry of deep-sea mining and its potential effects on marine life. While rooted in scientific reality, the work introduces elements of speculation, blurring the boundaries between the geological past and a mythological future. It narrates tales of transformation among resilient creatures that, due to the actions of humans, are forced to leave their oceanic homes.︎︎︎
