Transference of Self is a performance installation that invites the audience into a moment of shared intimacy. Within the installation space, the author/performer relays a personal narrative to a participant as they enter the space. The piece is designed to foster a disconnection from one’s own physical and mental presence as the intimate story is exchanged from performer to a stranger, cultivating a sense of instant closeness.
